The organization has taken up many significant projects related to the sustainable development of the rural communities.

Education

  • More than 3000 out of school children, dropouts and never enrolled children were released from work and facilitated through residential bridge courses to continue their education.

Health & Nutrition

  • Organised Fixed Health Day services by providing nutritious food and oil to lactating women, pregnant women and children below five years.
  • Successfully completed vaccination programme in 4 Primary Health Centres covering 117 villages, including forest area villages.

Natural Resource Management (NRM)

  • Sustainable practices of NTFP (Non-Timber Forest Produces), including honey.
  • Watershed development initiatives have covered 4200 hectares of land.

Livelihood Development

  • Development of dairies.
  • Kitchen gardens.
  • Backyard poultries.
  • Other income generating activities.

Panchayatraj Initiatives

  • Activities taken up in 15 Gram Panchayats for strengthening capacities and preparing village development plans through participation of all villagers.

Disaster Relief

  • Flood relief and rehabilitation activities in 5 villages.
  • Supported 5000 families affected by severe heat waves.

Women Empowerment

  • Chaithanyavikas MACTS established for urban and semi-urban women with 3500 women for their socio-economic development.
  • CONARE Laxmi MACTS established for rural women empowerment.

Forest Conservation

  • Alternative livelihood for forest dependent communities has achieved significant results in regrowth of forests by reducing human activity through various livelihood activities.

Agro-Forestry & Grazing Land

  • Reclamation of Grazing Land and establishment of Agro-forestry System for fodder generation and management became a model in restricting cattle movement in forest lands, thereby avoiding human and wildlife conflicts.

Sustainable Agriculture

  • Non-pesticide management equipped farmers with adequate skills and resources on organic farming.
  • Promotion of seasonal intercrop cultivation.
  • Promotion of indigenous and eco-friendly agricultural investment.
  • Promotion of integrated farming systems.
