Our Vision
A discrimination-free society with equal opportunities for marginalized sections to access developmental opportunities.
Working alongside communities in health, agriculture, governance, gender, child and youth development, energy and environment.
Community first. Always.
CONARE (Community Action for Rural Empowerment) is a registered non-profit society established on 17 February 1999 by Mr. M. A. Saleem, with a vision to empower marginalized communities through sustainable development and community participation.
CONARE works towards the upliftment and empowerment of marginalized and deprived communities, especially tribal communities such as Chenchu, Lambadas and Eurukala, along with Scheduled Castes, poor farmers and minority communities—with a focus on women, children and youth.

An empowered society taking collective action and moving towards holistic development.
We build long-term change through community participation, collaboration and sustainable local action.
Long-term and short-term projects are developed around organisational objectives and community needs.
Programs are supported by funding agencies, government departments and civil society organisations.
Community stakeholders take part in planning, implementation and monitoring of projects.
Community Owned and Community Operated strategies help sustain interventions over the long term.
CONARE reaches communities in remote locations where access to basic amenities and services can be limited. We work with tribal and rural villages to support awareness, inclusion and sustainable development.
